The INKreadables, Episode 2: Self-trust
Well, remember a while back when I was so excited I could scream? My friend and poetry mentor Damian Jay Clay and I recorded a podcast. We’d recruited a guest to join us and discuss writerish things.
Well, we did it again. It was no less exciting the second time around.
We dragged another more-or-less-willing victim into conversation with us. This time, we discussed Self-reliance, an essay by Ralph Waldo Emerson.
The piece is not aimed strictly at writers, but it certainly applies to them and I enjoyed reading, contemplating and discussing it very much.
The two gentlemen I got to discuss it with are among my favourite people on the planet, so I would have enjoyed it no matter what we talked about, to be honest.
Thank you so much, boys, for the delightful hour of fun, giggles and writing talk. Isn’t that the best combination ever?
Maybe I should let you guys be the judge of that.
Hugs
Jasmine
